Roger Wilkins, left, greeted audience members and signed
books after his presentation, "The Significance of the
Voting Rights Act of 1965." Wilkin’s visit was part of
Wright State’s celebration of the 40th anniversary of
the Voting Rights Act, which has been described as the
single most effective piece of civil rights legislation
ever adopted by Congress. |
